Google API Disclosure
This page describes how NutriPal (SERETAKOS GEORGIOS TOU MARIOU, GEMI 187845603000), operating at https://nutri-pal.gr/, accesses and uses data received from Google APIs when a nutrition professional optionally connects Google Calendar.
NutriPal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
1. Who this applies to
Google OAuth is not used to sign in to NutriPal. Only an authenticated nutrition professional (admin user) may optionally connect their own Google Calendar from the Appointments area of the admin panel. Patients and other users do not connect Google accounts through NutriPal.
2. Scopes we request
When connecting Google Calendar, NutriPal requests only the following OAuth scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events
View and edit events on the connected Google calendar (not full calendar settings, sharing, or other calendar metadata).https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email
Read the Google account's email address once after connection to display which account is linked (for example, in Appointments).
3. How we use Google data
Google user data is used solely to provide optional calendar synchronization for the connected nutrition professional:
- Create events: When an appointment is created in NutriPal, a corresponding event may be created on the connected Google Calendar.
- Update events: When appointment time, duration, title, or notes change, the linked Google event may be updated.
- Delete events: When an appointment is removed from NutriPal, the linked Google event may be deleted.
- List events: Events in selected date ranges are listed to show Google Calendar events alongside NutriPal appointments and to reflect busy time slots in scheduling views.
- Linking: Private extended properties on Google events associate each NutriPal appointment with its Google event where applicable.
- Account display: The Google account email is stored only to show which account is connected; it is not used for NutriPal login, advertising, or marketing.
OAuth tokens are stored per nutrition professional and encrypted at rest. For broader privacy practices, see our Privacy Policy.
4. What we do not do
- We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
- We do not sell Google user data.
- We do not use Google user data for purposes unrelated to providing and improving the Google Calendar integration described on this page.
- Client health data, nutritional profiles, and other clinical information managed in NutriPal are not transmitted to Google as part of this integration; only appointment and calendar-related fields needed for sync are used.
5. Your control
A connected nutrition professional may disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the Appointments area in the NutriPal admin panel. On disconnect, NutriPal revokes the Google token where possible and deletes the stored connection and related sync mappings from our systems.
